Project managed co-lo data centre in Telehouse North.

Hardware procurement and installation to drive ROI whilst providing a flexible and scalable environment capable of supporting major organisations such as BSkyB, Sony Entertainment, Cartoon Network. Project managed the integration of an acquired technology company, dealing with the migration of technologies, customers and legacy billing systems Built a team consisting of highly technical development resource and online psychology researchers. Responsible for performance and growth setting for this team. Utilising a scrum agile format drove velocity reporting back up the chain to the CEO

Delivered successful transfer of a key system developing Frito-Lay (Walkers Crisp, Lays) packaging in Europe.

A complex system integrating third party software and hardware, bespoke software developed with off shore resource in Chennai and shared service IT infrastructure in Chicago.

Managed the bespoke development and rollout of a C# / ASP.Net Project Management system that mapped to the seven gate packaging process within Allied Domecq.

Introduced 13 bespoke systems into leading FMCG such as Nestle, Interbrew, Kraft, re-engineering client processes to map to the software workflow, arranging onsite and offsite meetings from initial analysis through to UAT and rollout. Working with the sites in Leeds, Salford, Bristol, Belgium, Prague to introduce the client workflow systems into in house production.

Developed and managed a diverse range of projects.

Reporting into a CapGemini led change programme in intensive 6 month period to support newly won business of DWP Flexible New Deal contract: Established a Managed MPLS network utilising BT IP Converge provision to 47 new offices. Delivery of ISO 27001 project, including DWP audit on compliance with Information Systems Security Standards (ISSS), risk assessment and control via statement of applicability

Data Centre Project Management

IP Hosting and Application Project Management for the build out of infrastructure in tier 3 data centres. A new platform in support of large CUCM (21K user based) telephony estate, including but not limited to:
• Provision of Cisco CUCM cluster at 2 x DC’s - UCS chassis, extenders and blades
• Cisco Unity platform
• HP DL380 servers
• Migrating EMC 5700 to new EMC VNX 5800 storage array
• Installation of ESX, Microsoft and Red Hat products
• Solution and Service readiness testing
• Transition to live service via AILS process
